The enclosure is made of casting aluminum alloy, the surfaces are sprayed with plastics, it may prevent erosions. Inside there are some 3TB AC contactors, thermo-relay with phase-protector, switches, indicating lamp, elements of damp-proof etc. It may control three-phase asynchronous motor (or one-phase motor) to start directly and stop, and protect motor from the over-loading, breaking phase, lower-voltage.

May use tubes or cables to connect it.

There are SEMENS's 3RW22 soft starters inside.
